Sportsman's Hunting Club is Oklahoma's oldest hunting club, incorporated in 1947.
We were the very first and we are still the very best!
Sportsman's owns or leases around 40,000 acres of prime hunting land from north of Woodward to east of Atoka. We have more varied lease areas than any other hunting club in Oklahoma.
Whatever you like to hunt in Oklahoma - Deer, Turkey, Quail, Waterfowl, Dove, Hogs, Predators, Small Game, Pheasants - you name it - we probably have it on one of our leases.
We have prime hunting land with a large hunting lodge bordering the Great Salt Plains Wildlife Refuge outside of Jet, OK that sleeps 22 hunters with all the comforts of home including washer & dryer and a complete kitchen. Our lease east of Atoka and our leases south of Harmon each feature a cabin that accommodates 8 hunters. Several of our leases allow camping including a club leased trailer at Duncan that sleeps 4.
Our hunting lands range from the open prairies of western and northwestern Oklahoma to the piney woods of southeastern Oklahoma. Many of our leases have ponds for waterfowl hunting and fishing. Each of our leases have some combination of woods, creeks, ponds, native grasses, agricultural fields, bottom lands, even some canyon areas and river bottoms.
Sportsman's wants to make a difference and we work with the Oklahoma Youth Hunting & Shooting Program to make a postive impact in the lives of some special young Oklahoman's by affording hunting opportunities to many who would otherwise have no opportunity to learn about hunting, outdoor skills and an appreciation of nature.
Lease Information
The OKC Sportsman’s Country Club was founded as a hunting club in 1947. We lease hunting and fishing land statewide. This hunting season we have about 40,000 acres leased for your hunting & fishing enjoyment. The overall lease map shows the locations of our many leases. Membership gets you access to all lands leased and owned by the club. Your membership is a family membership, there are no additional fee for spouses, kids and grand kids within age restrictions to hunt.
Leases can be found from northwest, western and aouthern all the way to south eastern Oklahoma. Some of our properties even have lodging available for our members to use while hunting at no additional charge. The club owns hunting land and a lodge that is adjacent to the Great Salt Plains National Wildlife Reservation near Jet, offering some of the best waterfowl and deer hunting in the state. Pits are located in our goose field for hunter use and decoys are provided for our Jet area hunters. For deer hunters, we several leases with excellent deer hunting opportunities and a chance for that elusive buck of a lifetime. A number of our leases have deer, turkey, waterfowl, hog, quail and dove in abundant numbers. Some of our northern leases have pheasants.
Hunting and Fishing
The Sportsman's Club was founded over 65 years ago by a group of men from all walks of life, but with a common interest and priority: Wildlife conservation and quality hunting and fishing! This is a priority that has thrived over the years and is the reason Sportsman's is the best hunting program in the state.
